Walk along Hadrian's Wall!
Steve and Johannes have just finished another marathon walk along the length of Hadrian's wall from Wallsend in Newcastle to Bowness on Solway in Carlisle from 10-14 September 2018. We hope to raise a sum of £4000 for our efforts to supports our charities "Help for Heroes" and "Computers for Schools" in Sri Lanka. We are taking on this challenge so that we could support the rehabilitation of our wounded soldiers and support for their families. We will also be giving education to the most deprived children in Sri Lanka. Thanks to all who supported us in the past and still continue to support us. If you have not helped us in the past do not feel left out. You can always sponsor us, please do not delay!
The walk consists of 84 miles from East to West following the World Heritage Site of Hadrian's Wall, past Roman settlements and forts. There's history every step of the way, bustling market towns and great views too.
We live in peace today, but many are crossing boarders searching for freedom. It is important to value this freedom and treasure it. My invitation is: for all communities to come out in solidarity to show your support in prayer and financial contribution to make a difference in many lives.

I was a refugee some years ago. You cared for me, looked after me and loved me as your own. Now it is my time to say thank you and to give something back to the country which gave me hope and freedom.
